From Chaos to Clean: The Game-Changing Products That Got Me Organized

From Chaos to Clean: The Game-Changing Products That Got Me Organized

I went on a cleaning bender...

It started with our bathroom. I opened a cupboard looking for nail clippers and was met with an avalanche of children's old teeth (I know, I know... gross), half marathon medals and medications that expired in 2016. That was the moment. The final straw. I didn’t set out to “clean and organize my entire home” - I just wanted to clean our bathroom - but it snowballed!

So I cleared EVERYTHING out, gave the cupboards a solid scrub (then a second one because… ew), and brought in some simple bins I found online. Nothing fancy—just ones that actually fit the space and helped me group like things together. I stood back after and thought, “Oh. That looks… kinda nice?” And just like that, I caught the bug.

Just look how pretty my drawer looks now!! {Organizers linked here}

And I NEED to share this cleaning brush I found. Cleaning cabinet doors is literally THE WORST. Those annoying little corners that you can't get into?? Argggg! Enter this miracle brush!

Never in my life have I ever been passionate about anything related to cleaning... but this brush is a game changer! Got my bathroom and my laundry room cabinets fresh and clean... with no dirty corners! HIGHLY recommended and even better it's very reasonably priced!

The laundry room was next. 20,967 mismatched socks, dirty laundry on the floor, clean laundry stuffed in every corner waiting to be put away. I went through EVERYTHING. All the laundry got done, folded and distributed to it's rightful owner, the mismatched socks were finally dealt with and the floors and cupboards were sparkling!

I shared a lot of this on my Instagram stories and was surprised how many people messaged me saying they were feeling the same way—overwhelmed by clutter, not sure where to start, wanting their space to work better for them. So I figured I’d put everything together here. Not as a “look at me, I have it all figured out” kind of post, but more of a “if I can get one corner of my house together, so can you” kind of vibe.

A couple of you also asked about my laundry room drying rack and my little sorting bins. These cute little tins were a Home Sense find YEARS ago, but I'm sure you could find something similar. We use them for tide pods and dryer balls so it's all within easy reach when doing the laundry.

The drying rack is awesome and I use it every time I do laundry. Lays flat against the wall when not in use and easy to pop up when you have something that needs hung to dry.

I’ve linked the stuff I used, in case it helps you like it helped me. They’re affiliate links, which means I earn a little commission if you grab anything through them—and if you do, thank you! It helps me keep doing what I love and sharing things that make life feel a little more doable.

Because honestly? Life is busy. But coming home to a space that feels a bit more calm and a lot less chaotic? That’s worth every brush stroke and bin.

Here are some additional products I have and used:

1. My Bissell Crosswave wet/dry Vacuum worked brilliantly on my tile floors as well as my laminate. Vacuums and mops all at the same time. ✨

2. The Cleaner I use for this is great and a little goes a long way.
Happy Cleaning... stay tuned for part 2 as I venture to the next area of the house!
