OMG. These. Mr Blue Sky and I had them in crispy tortilla taco bowls made with my favourite protein wraps and the kids had them differently... the perfect way to appease the whole fam! Mila had hers as a crunch wrap with a hard shell taco inside a soft shell tortilla and Madden had hers in a soft tortilla... and EVERYONE loved them. As a mom, you know making ONE dinner and having everyone eat it is a game changer!
INGREDIENTS:
Iceberg Lettuce
Tomatoes
Pickles
Ground Beef
Cheddar Cheese
White Onion
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Paprika
Salt + Pepper
Regular Soft Tortillas or Hard Shell or BOTH!
For the Big Mac Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp pickle relish
1 tbsp finely chopped white onion
2 tsp yellow mustard
1/2 tsp rice vinegar
1/2 tsp paprika, onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
S+P to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Make sauce but combining all ingredients and set aside. Cook beef on cook top as per usual and season with a dash or paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and salt + pepper to taste.
The key here for me is the Protein Wrap Bowl! I use these simple bowl makers from Amazon. I just plunk my tortilla in and pop it in my air fryer for a few minutes until crispy. Set aside and chop veggies.
Then it's as easy as putting it all together! Build your taco, your crunch wrap or your salad as desired and ENJOY!
**For my bowl I put the cheese in first then the meat to melt it then top with sauce and all the fresh veggies and pickles. OMG my mouth is watering....
